YOUTH PEACE COUNCIL
FIRST CONFERENCE IN NOVEMBER (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 16. At the first meeting of the executive committee of the recently-formed New Zealand Youth Peace Council it was decided that the first New Zealand Youth Peace Council be held during the week ending November 6. It is to be a youth conference of representatives from national youth organizations with a substantial youth membership and local youth peace councils no representative to be more than 35 years of age. A committee was set up to make arrangements for the coming visit of Mr Arthur Henderson, who will be spending 10 days in New Zealand at the end of August on his way to the Australian International Peace Campaign Congress.
