NEGRO’S THIRD DEATH SENTENCE
CONVICTED FOR ASSAULTING WHITE WOMEN (Received July 16, 10.3 Q p.m.) MONTREAL, July 16. At Decatur (Alabama) a white jury convicted Clarence Norris, a Negro, for assault on a white woman and sentenced him to death. Norris has three times been sentenced to death in six years.
