TRADES COUNCIL WOUND UP (United Press Association) AUCKLAND, June 15. Preparatory to the formation of a District Council of the New Zealand Federation of Labour in Auckland, the local Trades and Labour Council has been wound up and the Auckland branch of the Alliance of Labour proposes to adopt a similar course this week. At a meeting of the two executives it was decided to issue a circular to all Auckland industrial organizations calling on them to affiliate with the federation and inviting them to elect delegates to a meeting early in July, when temporary officers will be elected.
