ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES
CAR HIT BY TRAIN (United Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH, May 24. A collision between the north bound limited express and a car driven by Dr Patterson, of Paraparaumu, occurred at a crossing half-way between Paraparaumu and Paerarariki this evening. Details are meagre. While the car was badly smashed Dr Paterson miraculously escaped with bruises and slight concussion.
