NEW ZEALAND BUTTER FOR JAPAN
INCREASING DEMAND DESPITE HIGH DUTY (Received April 25, 7.5 p.m.) TOKYO, April 24. The Domei News Agency reports that imports of New Zealand butter are increasing despite the high freight and duty. For example, the Melbourne Maru, which leaves Auckland on April 28, is bringing 260 tons.
