« — COMMITTEE BUSY AT WELLINGTON (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 23. The Government members of the Education Select Committee of the House of Representatives have been in Wellington for the past few days going through the comments of education authorities on the recommendations of the “Atmore Report” as submitted by a questionnaire on this basis. They have prepared the groundwork for an amendment to the Education Act to be prepared by the law draftsman. The draft, when completed, will be referred back to the committee for further approval, afte. which legislation will be placed before the full membership of the Select Committee on Education and evidence called before the submission of the Bill to Parliament
