Macalister v. H. C. Date; A. W. Broad v. R. Lund; F. D. Morrah v. S. M. Macalister; D. H. Howarth v. G. M. Giles; J. L. Paterson v. W. Strang; F. A. Webb v. another. The above players will start from No. 11 Tee. INVERCARGILL LADIES’ CLUB A medal handicap was played by members of the Invercargill Ladies’ Golf Club in fine weather yesterday. Following are the results:— Mrs J. D. Speirs 89—11—78 Miss M. McCallum 110—30—80 Miss C. Smith 92—10—82 Miss P. McCarthy 101—19—82 The Invercargill Ladies’ Golf Club will hold a country day on Friday, April 30, to which all members of L.G.U. or unaffiliated clubs are invited. Competitions will consist of a medal handicap in the morning—a challenge cup has been presented for the best net score in this event—and a foursomes handicap in the afternoon. All entries are to be forwarded to the secretary, Mrs P. J. Israel, by Thursday, April 29.
