The annual report of the Imperial Economic Committee covering the period from April 1, 1935, to March 31, 1936, has just been received. The committee has been reconstituted as an intra-imperial organization co-opera-tively financed. It -s controlled by the representatives of the contributory governments and is responsible to all governments, but to no one Minister of any one government. The circulation of the committee’s intelligence notes has increased, and progress in other directions is also recorded in the report. It is expected that at the Imperial Conference this year the work of the committee will be reviewed and its future considered.
