LINER QUEEN MARY CAUSES PROFIT
COMPANY’S LOSS OF PREVIOUS YEAR (Received April 19, 8.30 p.m.) LONDON, April 19. The popularity and success of the Cunard White Star liner Queen Mary was one of the chief causes of the company’s loss of £61,769 in 1935 being turned into a profit of £546,659 last year. The company emphasized the continued improvement in the Atlantic passenger earnings since the maiden voyage of the Queen Mary.
