CHURCH WARNS PEOPLE AGAINST NAZISM
“PERSECUTION” OF PROFESSING CHRISTIANS BERLIN, March 17. The Confessional churches in Saxony have issued a manifesto bluntly warning members to ward off the onslaught of Nazism, “which persecutes professing Christians.” Those attending church should not be deceived by those describing the Old Testament as a Jewish book, but must decide whether it’ gives God’s word or ambiguous speeches, says the manifesto. Those falsifying it will be proclaimed in the churches.
