HELEN WILLS MOODY TO MAKE FILMS
AMATEUR TENNIS FORSAKEN (Received March 18, 9.50 p.m.) SAN FRANCISCO, March 18. Her husband announced that Mrs Helen Wills Moody, the former tennis champion, had decided to abandon amateur tennis and make a series of tennis “shorts” for the films, which would automatically class her as a professional, although she has resolved not to play tennis professionally.
