RECENT ESCAPEE REMANDED
ANOTHER ARRESTED (United Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH, March 11. William Joseph Fox, who was arrested .at Woodville yesterday, appeared before Mr J. L. Stout, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court today charged with escaping from lawful custody at Stratford. On the application of Sergeant McIntyre the accused was remanded to appear at New Plymouth on March 18. The escapee from the Waikanae prison, William Joseph Gee, was arrested this morning while driving a stolen truck through the township.
