“STAY-IN” STRIKE CONTINUES (Received March 7, 6.30 p.m.) CAIRO, March 5. Despite a threat of unfrocking the Monks taking part in the “stay-in” strike near Assuit continue to show defiance. They state that they are prepared for a siege of two years. Unfrocking would render them in illegal possession of the monastery, upon which the authorities would be justified in eviction by force.
