FOUR ALARMING EXPLOSIONS (United Press Association) GREYMOUTH, March 7. Four explosions at 8 p.m. on Friday at Stillwater alarmed the residents, who discovered that an unoccupied sixroomed dwelling, owned by Mr J. D. Brosnan, of Wellington, and near the main road, had . been completely wrecked. . v Apparently two charges of gelignite, one at the rear and another in the front of the fireplace, did the main damage. Some of the debris was blown across the road. , The tenant vacated the house a week previously and another was to have entered shortly.. The site was originally a road reserve and it was the subject of litigation a couple of years ago. The affair remains a mystery. _____ X
