WOMAN TO BE SENT BACK TO NEW ZEALAND

CONFINED IN CABIN AT SYDNEY (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Sydney, December 28. The woman prevented from landing from the Niagara on Saturday will probably be returned to New Zealand by the Awatea on Friday. No one is allowed to see the woman, who is confined to her cabin in charge of a stewardess. Another Auckland woman visited the Niagara during the week-end, intending to offer assistance, but she was advised not to interfere and changed her mind. She claimed on her arrival seven months ago that she had not the requisite amount of land in Australia, but because she travelled second class she was not questioned about her means. The prohibited immigrant travelled third class.
