Maoris Fatally Injured (United Press Association.) Wbakatane, November 13. The second tragedy within a week occurred at Ruatoki last night. On Sunday a Maori, Tata Moni, aged 22 who had quarrelled with his wife the previous week tied a gun to a willow tree, attached a length of string to the trigger and shot himself in the heart. The Coroner’s verdict was that deceased met his death by a gunshot wound, self inflicted. At Owhakatora last night a Maori couple engaged in milking quarrelled in a shed.
