ORGANIZATION’S THANKS.
(United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 6.30 p.m.) London, October 17. Mr H. Hamilton Fyfe, president of the League for the Prohibition of Cruel Sports, sent a letter to the King’s Secretary thanking his Majesty for substituting a camera for a gun during his visit to Balmoral. His Majesty s courageous lead would powerfully stimulate the abandonment of sports which involved the killing of wild animals, said the letter.
