RELIGION ENTERS INTO AIR ROUTE
SEA OF GALILEE NOT TO BE USED.
(United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 6.30 p.m.) London, October 17. In deference tc religious sentiment, the British and Palestine Governments have abandoned a proposal that the Sea of Galilee should be used by Imperial Airways flying-boats on the Anglo-Australian route. The use of the Dead Sea as an alternative descending place is being considered, but no decision has yet been reached.
