DAVID LOW.

To the Editor.

Sir,—David Low’s “Obituary” in Saturday’s paper is typical of the man. Low says a lot in a few words, likewise his drawings—a few. lines and you have a cartoon biting with sarcasm or brimful of humour. Low’s proposal of marriage was typically Low. He married Miss Florrie Kenning, whom he met at school in Dunedin; a boy and girl romance. . Afterwards. Low went to London and Miss Kenning to Auckland. Low’s proposal was made by cable: Will you marry me. David Low. Miss Kenning evidently knew her man and replied as follows; David Low, London. Yes. Florrie. And as good stories should end they have lived happily ever after. —Yours, etC ” F.B.W. Invercargill, October 17, 1936.
