102 YEARS OLD

(United Press Association.) - Dunedin, September 13. Mrs Crocombe, of Musselburgh, Dunedin, will celebrate her 102nd birthday to-morrow. She arrived in Otago in 1852 by the ship Stately and has resided in the province ever since. She married, shortly after her arrival, Dr Joseph Crocombe, the first doctor to settle in Otago. She enjoys good health, is alert in manner and still takes a keen interest in current events.
