FOTE FOR RETENTION WE, THE UNDERSIGNED RATEPAYERS in the Western Otago portion of the Southland Electric-power District strongly urge all ratepayers in Southland to vote for the Retention of the Southland Power Scheme. Our district which embraces Moa Flat, Crookston, Heriot, Tapanui, etc., linked up with the Southland people at the commencement of this scheme. Our district and ratepayers have loyally supported the Board and we have nothing but admiration for the way the Board has conducted its affairs and served the consumers. We would point out that a community of interest has now grown up between your City and our district but we will be very disappointed in you if you turn us down on this occasion.
