A new barrack room block has recently been erected at Risborough Barracks, Shorncliffe, where the 2nd Battalion, The East Surrey Regiment, is stationed. A change has been made in furnishing this block. This is the provision at the head of each man’s bed of a metal wardrobe, which is fitted with six coat-hangers and two drawers.
A wave coming inshore will break when the depth of the water is about equal to the height of the crest agove the undisturbed level.
