MISSIONARY UNION At the monthly meeting of the Presbyterian Women’s Missionary Union Mi’s Pringle, vice-president, presided over a good attendance of members. Mrs A. Liddell read a missionary letter from Miss Millar, of Matahi Waimana. Miss Millar is a daughter of the Rev. George Millar, a retired minister. A letter was received from Miss Henderson, who is at present in Auckland. Mrs Pringle read a letter on Our Maori Mission Work.” Mrs McMath read a letter from Mrs L. Friend, of Transvaal, South Africa, telling of her mission work. Mrs Friend was formerly of Balfour, her maiden name being Miss V. Butler. Mrs G. Grant was hostess.
