BASS STRAIT STEAMER SOLD TO JAPAN
(United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 12.20 a.m.) Melbourne, Sept. 10. The veteran Bass Strait steamer Loongana has been sold to Japan, and will be towed there by the Union Company’s freighter Kanna, which has also been sold to the East. The Kanna is at present at Auckland.
