ITALY KEENLY AWAITING REACTION
(United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 10.20 p.m.) London, September 10. The Rome correspondent of The Morning Post says that Herr Hitler’s claim to the colonies at the Nazi Congress is generally regarded as a straight challenge to Britain. Italy, which is every day being forced more and more into Germany’s arms by the trend of European events, is therefore watching keenly London’s reaction.
