FOURTH IN BRITAIN THIS YEAR. (British Official Wireless.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, September 9. Duty amounting to £595,847 is payable on the estate of the late Mr Harold Cohen, chairman of large retail stores in the north of England, which was proved yesterday for £1,285,498. Mr Cohen was a generous benefactor to social and educational organizations in Liverpool, and the day before he died he was to have laid the foundation stone of a new library at Liverpool University, to which he had given £lOO,OOO. This is the fourth estate exceeding £1,000,000 admitted to probate in 1936.
