NEW GOVERNOR OF N.S.W.
0 WARM WELCOME TO SYDNEY. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 8.45 p.m.) Sydney, August 6. A warm welcome was to-day accorded the new Governor of New South Wales (Sir Murray Anderson) and his wife. A representative gathering of members of Cabinet, city aidermen and public men and women assembled at the wharf to greet their Excellencies in glorious sunshine. Ships of the Australian Navy, dressed for the occasion, and a number of aeroplanes flew overhead, and naval guns fired a salute. The crowds cheered the ViceRegal couple during the procession through the city.
