Colac Bay Notes

Miss T. Wixon is spending a holiday at Bluff. Mrs H. Bailey and her family are spending a holiday in Dunedin. Mrs Noble and Miss N. Noble, Orepuki, spent a few days in Colac Bay re. cently. Mrs W. Davis, Invercargill, has been the guest of Mr and Mrs E. McCulloch, Colac Bay. A dance organized by the Murihiku Basketball Club was held in the Drill Hall recently. Music was supplied by the Kapai Orchestra. The masters of ceremonies were Miss M. Cleaver and Mr B. Te Au. Items were given between dances, including Maori action songs and hakas, a solo by Mr J. Woods and a duet by Mi - I. Belsham and Mr D. Wixon.
