Miss M. Lindquist, Bluff, has been the guest of Mrs J. B. McLeod.
.Mrs J. R. Watt has been the guest of Mrs J. Hubber, Heddon Bush. Mr and Mrs J. Dempster spent - a few days in Winton recently. Mr and Mrs J. Prendeville recently motored to Hedgehope for a few days.
Mr and Mrs T. Horner, Bayswater, were visitors to Nightcaps last weekend. The new convent at Nightcaps is now completed and sisters and nuns have gone into residence. This week some fifty women parishioners and supporters gave the nuns a pantry afternoon. Mrs J. P. Forde (Wairio) spoke on behalf of the visitors. The Rev. Father Fenton, on behalf of the sisters and nuns, thanked the visitors for their gifts. Among those present were Mesdames F. Boyle, A. Laidlaw, F. Erasmusson, E. Cosgriff, A. Colligan, John McCoy, R.
