Mr A. H. Mackrell, whose name appeared in yesterday morning’s Southland Times as a member of a sub-committee of Power Board ratepayers to prepare a petition for circulation, states that his name was put there without his authority. While he is in favour of a referendum being taken, he is not taking any part whatever in the controversy.
