FATAL DISPUTE IN SAMOA
Native Charged With Murder (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 10.45 p.m.) Apia,. July 20. A dispute over the possession of a piece of land at Saluafata, 15 miles east of Apia, to-day resulted in the death of loane, aged 35, first cousin of the high Chief Tamasese, and the arrest of another Samoan named Siu on a charge of murder. Siu is in hospital with cuts on the head and one hand. It is alleged that loane attacked Siu with a shot-gun and that Siu retaliated with a knife.
