OBITUARY
MR MALCOLM GILLIES. Mr Malcolm Gillies, of the Star Hotel, Addington, Christchurch, who died in the Lewisbam Hospital, Christchurch, on Saturday, was during the past 30 years a well-known and popular figure in business and sporting circles. He served in the Great War and suffered severely from shell-shock. He leaves a widow, a daughter of the late Mr Donald Gillies, and Mrs Gillies, of Kingston Crossing, and a son and daughter.
