PRESENTATION TO ART GALLERY DESIRED. (United Press Association.) Wellington, June 15. A decision to launch a national campaign for subscriptions from women for the presentation of a portrait of Queen Mary to the National Art Gallery was made at a large meeting of women to-day. The Mayoress of Wellington (Mrs T. C. A. Hislop) presided. She said that it was proposed that a shilling subscription fund should be opened and it was decided that the Mayoresses of other cities and towns should be invited to co-operate. Viscountess Galway is to be invited to accept the office of patron.
