FURTHER RESULTS OF ELECTIONS. Further results of elections of school committee in Southland are as follows:— GLENCOE.—Nine householders were present and Mr J. Graham presided. The roll number for the school is 21 and the average attendance for the year was 20.1. The annual statement showed a credit balance of £l2 18/4. The following were elected a committee for the ensuing year:—Messrs G. McKay (chairman), G. Halliday (secre-
tary), J. Sanderson, D. McDonald and R. Dunoon. ISLA BANK.—Five householders were present and the Rev. G. P. Mitchell presided. The roll number for the school is 50. The annual statement showed a credit balance of £42 12/3. The following were elected a committee for the ensuing year:—The Rev. G. P. Mitchell (chairman), D. Teviotdale (secretary), W. E. Lindsay, lan and Stanley Stuart. WALLACETOWN.—Sixteen householders were present and Mr A. Fraser presided. The roll number for the school is 47, and the average attendance for the year was 40. The annual statement showed a credit balance of £2B 8/9. The following were elected a committee for the ensuing year:— Messrs A. Fraser (chairman), J, B. McKenzie (secretary), D. Nelson, W. L. Gray and J. Scott.
