LAST EFFORT ON EVEREST

MONSOON REGAINS STRENGTH. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) London, June 10. A copyright message from Mr Hugh Ruttledge, leader of the Everest expedition, says that the whole party, except Major C. J. Morris and Dr. Noel Humphreys, is now encamped near the head of the main Rongbuk Glacier, under the huge north face of Everest. The monsoon has regained strength, but a party of seven is exploring the west side of North Col as a final effort.
