CHEMISTS’ SHOPS
PROPOSED LICENSING. The Invercargill Pharmaceutical Board considers that the proposed licensing of chemists’ shops, advocated in a report of the Industries and Commerce Committee of the" House of Representatives, should prove quite satisfactory. The board would make no further comment. Yesterday a city chemist said that beyond what had appeared in the newspapers, chemists knew nothing of the proposed legislation.
