W.C.T.U.

SOUTH INVERCARGILL BRANCH. Major Schroeder (probation officer) gave an interesting address at a meeting of the South Invercargill branch of the W.C.T.U. on the subjects “That prophecy is now being fulfilled” and “That we are living in an age of tribulation.” The afternoon was set apart for benevolence, and a ready response was forthcoming in gifts of cash and kind for the needy, the gifts being at the disposal of Major Schroeder. The district president, who was welcomed to the meeting by the branch president, announced that at the quarterlv meeting to be held on August 14 p- bring-and-buy sale would be held.
