Tuatapere THE GOLF CLUB
The weather was fine for the opening day of the Tuatapere Golf Club. Visitors were present from Nightcaps, Ohai and Pahia. Over 40 players took part in a mixed foursomes handicap over nine holes.
The best cards were: A. Miln and Mrs Murray, 53—17—36; W. Mangan and Miss Hanan, 44—7—37; T. Small and Mrs Mangan 50—12—38. Mr Robert Scott, the president, said that he was pleased to see such a large number of players present. Messrs J. Lewis, R. Benny and R. Pickering replied on behalf of the visitors. • Those present were: Mr and Mrs T. G. Hardy, Mr and Mrs F. C. Bruce, Mr and Mrs Mangan, Mr and Mrs. McClymont, Mr and Mrs A.
