ANOTHER “HUSH-HUSH” CRASH

GERMAN AIR ACE KILLED. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Berlin, May 1. A second “hush-hush” air crash resulted in the death of the ace, Major von Lichtenfels. Fifteen are believed to have been killed in the crash on April 30. The Munich correspondent of The Daily Telegraph says that 11 were killed when a new three-engined military aeroplane crashed from 9000 feet on the night of April 30, after an explosion in the engine. . The occupants included nine high officials, among whom was the Police Chief, who ascended to inspect the effect of orders for a “black-out” in Augsberg.
