£10,000,000 IN TEN YEARS (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 10.25 p.m.) Adelaide, April 2. The president of the South Australian branch of the Licensed Victuallers’ Association at the annual meeting declared that Customs and excise duties on liquor for the past 10 years in Australia had averaged £10,000,000, 75 per cent, of which had been collected on beer. He considered that some remission of duties was long overdue.
