CONCERN IN NEW SOUTH WALES. (United Press Assn.—telegraph Copyright.) Sydney, March 5. The Minister of Transport, Lieut.Colonel M. F. Bruxner, is much concerned at the increase in New South Wales of fatal road accidents, 82 oi which have occurred in the last two months. He has convened a conference of the various authorities to survey the position. The increase in road fatalities is 51 per cent, above the same period of 1934. BRITAIN’S ALARMING TOTAL. (United Press Assn.— Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 7.50 p.m.) London, March 5. The Minister of Transport (Mr L. Hore-Belisha) startled the House of Commons by disclosing that the road casualties during the late King George’s reign exceeded 2,500,000 killed and injured, compared with 2,661,811 killed and wounded in the Great War.
