LORD NUFFIELD’S SATISFACTION
CARE OF CRIPPLED CHILDREN SERVICE COMMENDED (United Press Association.) Auckland, March 5. Lord Nuffield returned to Auckland to-day after a yacht cruise as the guest of the Mayor of Auckland, Mr Ernest Davis. He leaves for Sydney tomorrow. Referring to his brief holiday Lord Nuffield said that he would return home with an increased desire to spend a prolonged holiday here, when business responsibilities permitted. "I have learned with much satisfaction that considerable progress has been made since my last visit in alleviating the sufferings of the unfortunate crippled children of the Dominion,” said Lord Nuffield. "I warmly commend this service to the people of New Zealand. May I take this opportunity of saying how much I appreciate the invaluable help which has been given by Mr C. J. B. Norwood in connection with the administration of the Fund which I established when I was. here last year, and I would like additionally to thank all those who have been associated with him in this work.”
