Manila: Market firmer on improved demand in the Philippine, American, Japanese buying. K grade for JanuaryMarch shipment sold at £23 10/—. Sisal: Market quiet but steady. Jan-uary-March and February-April shipments value £2B 10/-. New Zealand: No change to report. Peas.—Maples: Poor demand; prices have declined. No. 1 New Zealand afloat offered 50/-; buyers not interested. New crop A grade Tasmanian February-March shipment sold at from 46/- to 46/6. Blues: Market quiet.
