According to reports from a number of centres a shortage of farm labour still exists in many districts, despite the large numbers of men on the unemployment registers in the Dominion. The position is difficult to understand. Certainly the conditions offered on some farms are not altogether inducive, but there are many farmers offering a good home and reasonable reward for labour who cannot obtain men.
