Attractive Innovation

N. J. M. REIN’S CHINA DEPARTMENT. With china and crystal attractively arranged—the latter in floodlit cases and standing on glass shelves and reflected in glittering mirrors—shopping could not be more delightful than in N. J. Al. Rein’s new china department. This department is the outcome of a largely developed trade in china and it provides excellent facilities for the purchaser. The stock is displayed on open shelves spacious enough to allow for attractive arrangement of the wide range of stock, and in one corner is a special case exclusively for dressing table ware. It is of interest to know that the workmanship entailed in the building and furnishing of the room was entirely local. It is carpeted from wall to wall in soft colourings and the hangings are in a rich shade of red. The mahogany cases and stands have cn air of antiquity, for instead of following the straight lines of modern times they are gracefully. < iurve(l l^2l/12/.351 ,
