CHRISTMAS PARTY
NEW ZEALANDERS IN SYDNEY. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 11.35 p.m.) Sydney, December 18. A Christmas party arranged by the New Zealand Association of which Mrs J. W. Prentice, formerly of Invercargill, is president, was held today aboard the Maunganui, a replica of a Maori god guarding the top of the gangway. At the official table were the New Zealand Trade Commissioner, Mr Taylor, and his wife and daughter, Captain Toten and Lady Fuller. The musical programme opened with the New Zealand National Anthem. The decks were crowded with distinguished guests and many New Zealanders.
