Her father is Sir Guy Standing, the Hollywood actor—Colonel Stone in “Bengal Lancer,” and so forth. • Others supporting Mr Arliss are Hilda Trevelyan, the much-loved first Wendy of “Peter Pan,” and Maggie Wylie, in “What Every Woman Knows”; Godfrey Tearle, Percy Parsons, Ethel Griffies, and Diana Beaumont.
