McNAB STOCK SALE. There was a small attendance at the McNab stock sale yesterday. In the sheep section fat wethers brought 25/9 and ewes 14/-. In the store section 2-tooth wethers made up to 24/- and a line of mixed sex hoggets 22/-. In the cattle section medium-sized beef steers made up to £7. Sales were: Southland Farmers’ Co-operative Association, Ltd.: 10 fat wethers (shorn) 24/6, 2 fat ewes (shorn) 14/-, 10 yearling steers 37/6, 6 two-year-old steers £3 10/-. Passed in: 5 yearling bulls 30/-, 10 yearling heifers 15/-, cow and calf no bid.
