Shakespeare Again
Encouraged by the reception accorded Max Reinhardt’s production of Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” Warner Brothers say that the Gei-man producer’s next picture for them will be Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night,” with Marion Davies as the star. , Reinhardt is now in Hollywood and will return to New York soon to produce “The Road to Promise” as a stage spectacle, after which he will go back to Hollywood, to direct “Twelfth Night. An all-star cast will appear in support of Miss Davies in “Twelfth Night.” Max Reinhardt will make his own selections for his second cinema production. , ~ , „ Before appearing in ‘ Twelfth Night, Miss Davies will play in a costume comedy drama based on a story by Rida Johnson Young. Dick Powell will be her leading man in that Cosmopolitan production for Warner Brothers’ release. Edward Everett Horton, Arthur Treacher and Henry Stephenson will, also appear in Miss Davies’s next film, which will be directed by Frank Borzage from Casey Robinson’s screen play.
