NEPIA’S LEAGUE DEBUT
MATCH AGAINST WIGAN CLUB. FIRST GAME LOST. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 7.30 p.m.) London, December 14. George Nepia, the famous New Zealand full-back, arrived on Thursday, heading a contingent of five New Zealanders playing for the Streathammitcham Rugby League Club against Wigan, for whom J. Sullivan turned out at full-back. The match was won by Wigan by 11 points to 3.
